Delete your Hitch account

You can permanently delete your Hitch account and all of its data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. Delete in the app (instant)

1. Open the Hitch app and make sure you are signed in.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Under Account, tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account and all your saved data are removed immediately.

2. Request deletion by email

If you can’t access the app, email us from the address linked to your account and we will delete it within 30 days:

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all data associated with it, including:

• Your account and profile (email / sign-in identity)
• All your saved links, lists, tags, and notes
• Any saved places and reader content
• App settings and preferences

This action cannot be undone. Backups are purged on our normal rotation (within 30 days). We do not sell your data, and we keep nothing tied to your identity after deletion except what the law requires us to retain.
